SYLVIAERA is one of the few schools to offer Broadway Jazz classes. Having studied and trained in Jazz at Ballet Jazz de Montréal and Alvin Aley in New York, Sylvia is passionate about it, and it's Jazz that the School is honored to teach its dancers!

Broadway Jazz is a dance characterized by its energy and emphasis on the stage and theatricality. It's a clean, punchy style characteristic of New York musicals. The great American choreographers such as Fosse have had a major influence on this choreographic style. Aside from his great technique, this Jazz adds to the Cabaret style; top hats, chairs, accessories and much more!
